We are looking for a Director of Marketing based in Los Angeles to join our dynamic corporate team at The LINE, The Ned (US) & Saguaro Hotels. This role requires a seasoned marketing leader with a strategic vision and expertise in marketing and cross-channel integration within the hotel industry. The Director of Marketing will be instrumental in identifying challenges, implementing effective marketing strategies, and driving efforts to maximize revenue. This individual will collaborate closely with various departments and present key initiatives to external stakeholders across our portfolio to elevate brand presence and drive growth. 

Responsibilities: 
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company’s goals, focusing on brand positioning, customer acquisition, and retention across all properties. 
  • Team Management: Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to the Digital Marketing Manager and other marketing team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. 
  • Integrated Campaigns: Oversee the planning, development, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, and traditional channels to ensure consistent brand messaging and a cohesive guest experience. 
  • Brand Development: Work closely with the Head of Creative and Brand Experience Managers to refine and embrace the brand identity, ensuring that all marketing materials and communications reflect our brand values and resonate with our target audience. 
  • Partnerships & Collaborations: Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, agencies, and vendors to leverage opportunities for brand exposure and growth. Collaborate with the Director of Partnerships to align marketing efforts with sponsorships and events. 
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of all marketing initiatives, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies, maximize ROI, and achieve KPIs. Provide regular reports and strategic recommendations to the executive team. 
  • Budget Management: Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to support business objectives while maintaining fiscal responsibility. 
  • Market Research & Trends: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to ensure our marketing strategies remain innovative and competitive. 
Qualifications & Keys to Success: 
  • Experience: 7-10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role within the hospitality or lifestyle sectors. 
  • Education: BS/MS degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. 
  • Leadership: Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing marketing teams. 
  • Strategic Vision: Strong strategic thinking and planning skills with a demonstrated ability to translate business goals into effective marketing strategies. 
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of hotel marketing, digital marketing strategies, and brand development. Experience with systems like Saber/SynXis, CRS, Cendyn, CRM, and other relevant marketing technologies. 
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in WordPress, MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite, and website analytics tools. Familiarity with SEO, PPC, and social media advertising. 
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively. 
  • Flexibility: Based in Los Angeles and able and willing to travel as needed.
