About the Job 

The Director of Marketing will play a pivotal role in driving Doodle Labs’ growth by elevating brand awareness, creating strategic partnerships, and generating demand in the defense and robotics sectors. This role is ideal for a leader who has excelled as a product marketer, thrives on building high-performing teams and crafting impactful campaigns that position Doodle Labs as the go-to radio technology for drone manufacturers and robotics innovators. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll be at the center of Doodle Labs’ mission to bring transformative technology to robotics platforms solving advanced problems. 

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Develop and Execute Product Marketing Strategy: Within the firs30 days, design a multi-channel marketing strategy focused on lead generation and customer retention to position Doodle Labs as the leading drone radio provider.  

  • Build a High-Performance Team: Recruit and onboard key marketing hires within the first 60 days, ensuring the team is equipped to deliver high-quality campaigns.  

  • Campaign Leadership: Drive the execution of monthly tentpole campaigns, including tradeshows, webinars, and co-marketing initiatives, to increase brand engagement and customer loyalty.  

  • ROI Tracking and Analytics: Establish CRM-based ROI tracking within the first 90 days to measure and optimize campaign effectiveness, making data-driven adjustments to marketing strategies.  

  • Customer Relationships: Deepen partnerships with current customers through co-marketing and strategic collaboration, ensuring retention and expanded engagement.

  • Creativity and Execution: Track record of ideating and delivering innovative marketing campaigns that drive tangible business results.  

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with defense, robotics, or high-tech industries is preferred.

Required Qualifications 

  • Technical B2B Marketing Experience: At least 8 years of experience in technical product marketing, ideally with experience in communicationsrobotics or unmanned systems. 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of marketing. 

  • B2B Product MarketingSuccessful deployment of holistic B2B marketing strategies and channels. 

  • Technical Aptitude: Proven ability to learn technical products and communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. 

  • Leadership SkillsExperience in a senior role with direct reporting to executive leadership and proven ability to influence cross-functional teams.
